So today I made a pattern that I am oddly proud of when I know damn well I should hang my head in shame. I figure it would be a pretty good wrapping paper for kids..... in 1990. Anyway, yeah. :)

Parachutes

This was the first art of my senior project. Parachuteing animals. Well there's really not a lot to say about it. It was painted with acrylic on paper and the pattern was arranged digitally.

I have been super busy with senior project this semester so I have hardly posted anything since I wont be post my SP until it is finished. I did however make a few patterns today based off one of the images from my senior project and just for the hell of it, i put them on a child's bed set. That poor poor kid. Anyway, ICE CREAM!!!

Over the last few months I have been working on a project for a wonderful lady named Lochie, designing an animal alphabet. This will be used on her fine products produced by her company. These are painted with acrylic and a lot larger then they look. :D

Happy day after Valentines!

For valentines day, I made Mary a card based off my favorite one ever. Too bad the card was from the 60's so I had to recreate it as good as possible. gouache on paper. quick little thing.

Christmas!

The christmas, I decided to make a card for Mary. Most people probably wont get it so I will explain. When me and Mary started dating we decided what our spirit animals were. We agreed the she is a snow leopard and I am a puffin. That being said, I painted a christmas snow leopard with a christmas puffin using gouache.

Aesop

For my childrens book final, I chose to illustrate Aesop fables. The 4 fables are "The Hare and the Tortoise", "The Monkey and the Dolphin", "The Young Crab and his Mother", and "The Frogs Who Wished For a King". All are painted with acrylic on paper.

ABC

Childrens book ABC's. My theme was animals and transportation.... wow. Deep thinker I am. Any who, acrylic on paper.

Poem Illustration

So for childrens book illustration, we had to make an illustration of a childrens poem. I chose the poem " I Spied My Shadow Slinking" from the book "the new kid on the block". This illustration went really fast and was still, a pain in the ass. it is painted with gouache on paper.

Cat Fishing

For childrens book illustration we had to make an illustration based on a childhood memory, so i chose my days of cat fishing for my old cat "joe", in the kitchen. Acrylic on paper.

so today i managed to recover an old piece from last semestar that my teacher had been hanging onto for me. acrylic on paper.

Been a while. I have just been busy with my internship, designing bags, party ware, roll wrap and whatnot. Figured I might just post a couple things, nothing special, and most likely these wont be used so I cant feel to bad about it.

so...

This is starting to get a little torturous. I have so much I would like to post but I can't because it is all work related and therefor not suppose to be on here, or at least until they reject it. I also miss painting ohhhh so very much. All I get to work with here is digital. Dont get me wrong, this is exactly what I want to be doing now and after school, but I cant help but miss my old stuff. I really really need to just start painting again in my free time.
